Who We Are and What We Do

phyto-hemp is a team of experts in the field of hemp and cannabis.

We come from the medicinal herb cultivation sector and bring over 25 years of experience in the production and processing of medicinal plants.

The heart of phyto-hemp is located in Lomnice nad Pop., Czech Republic. On approx. 6,000 m² of production and storage space, we have established various manufacturing processes such as drying, sieving, cutting, pressing, extraction, distillation and homogenization.

At the same time, our laboratory provides the capability to analyze raw materials and conduct quality control throughout production until the final product.

Since 2018, we have specialized in the breeding, cultivation and processing of Cannabis sativa L.

In 2019, in collaboration with IHPS in Slovenia, we set up a 150 m² cannabis breeding station, which is GACP certified and equipped with state-of-the-art technology (in vitro technology). Additionally, we have 2-8 ha of GACP- and EU-BIO certified CBD outdoor plantations in Slovenia for scaling up our own production.

In Austria, approx. 20 ha of GACP cultivation area is available, primarily producing hemp leaves and seeds in organic quality for the production of teas, oils and proteins.

If needed, there is also the option to cultivate up to 200 ha of BIO-GACP hemp in Croatia.

At the end of 2021, we invested in the establishment of a GACP- and GMP qualified breeding and processing facility for medicinal cannabis in Lomnice. Since early 2024, our own genetics have been bred and cultivated on approx. 400 m² of indoor space with state-of-the-art technology. Alternatively, we can also breed and scale the desired strains of our clients on a contract basis.

Furthermore, our research and development experts support our clients with topics related to the hemp plant, especially regarding biological and chemical questions concerning breeding and ingredients, as well as product development.
